A small but select group

I have been part of organising yet another EducampRotovegas. This year we were a small but select group and the conversations were rich and meaningful.

At times we followed the slides, however it was great to have had the opportunity to have impromptu discussions not even added to the slides.

Learning - the moving spring of action...

Another great turnout for our fourth Educamp held in Rotorua with many 'newbies' present. A huge range of ideas and resources had been shared.

It was also great to receive this tweet from a first timer who displayed courage to present not only once, but twice!

Annemarie confirmed the venue for our annual EducampRotovegas and I've had the e-Learning Smackdown slides and Sign-up form sorted long before schools started back for 2015.  We were ready and was looking forward to welcome educators to Rotorua.

We had a great turnout, the room was packed and it was wonderful to see so many newbies present.  The Smackdown did not disappoint, with a huge range of ideas and resources being shared.

Professional Learning Planning

I am privilege to be co-organiser of the Connected Rotorua Teachers and the yearly Educamp Rotorua. Therefore Annemarie and I spent our Waitangi day, planning this two professional learning opportunities for teachers and we are looking forward to collaborate with teachers who are interested in learning with Digital Technologies on a regular basis.

EduCamp Rotovegas

EduCamp Rotovegas hit off today at 10.00am in Rotorua and was the first of it's kind for this year and as usual, did not disappoint with a 'full house' of 30 participants!

The sharing and collaboration from all were amazing and I loved it when Annemarie started with a video on Inspiration: Be agents of change.  Lots to be taken away and fantastic to meet and greet new and 'old' PLN friends.
